Research Report: Distributed Cloud Series: Understanding Buyer and Influencer Personas
Dec 15, 2023
by
Christian Perry
As hybrid models take hold in today’s evolving IT ecosystems, the stakeholders behind infrastructure and application deployments continue to expand beyond IT operations. Senior IT management increasingly has extensive responsibilities to ensure that complex, multidisciplinary strategies are carried out in optimal form, without barriers that can slow business velocity. These responsibilities trickle down to a wide range of teams, from cloud and cybersecurity to platform engineering and risk/compliance. Collaboration is essential, even in the face of persistent barriers that prevent teams from working hand in hand with others within the organization.
To examine persona behavior and trends within distributed cloud environments, Enterprise Strategy Group surveyed 368 IT professionals in North America (US and Canada) involved with technology purchases and processes used in on-premises, cloud (private, hybrid, and multi), and edge environments.
