StorSimple cloud-integrated storage and Windows Azure

This ESG Lab review documents the results of independent, hands-on testing of Microsoft’s solution for hybrid cloud storage – specifically StorSimple cloud-integrated storage and Windows Azure. Testing focused on the simplicity of deployment, disk capacity savings, ease of data protection, speed of data recovery, and performance acceleration offered by the cloud-integrated storage system. ESG Lab also calculated the total cost of ownership of a traditional storage deployment and compared it to a hybrid cloud storage deployment with StorSimple and Windows Azure to confirm the potential cost savings .
