Equinix recently announced the Equinix Cloud Exchange, a solution focused on the interconnection of cloud services providers and consumers, allowing for on-demand access to numerous global clouds and networks. This exchange will allow organizations, who have struggled with the implementation of desirable, efficient, and cost-effective cloud services, to access the best solutions from a number of different cloud providers, combined with high-performance connectivity. If Equinix can get the word out, continue to nurture and grow relationships with the correct partners, and demonstrate the use of the Exchange for popular use cases, it should be able to accelerate its own success, and the success of the consumers and providers of these cloud services.
