As business activity shifts online, with a hybrid workforce, many activities are conducted over the network rather than in person, exposing an organization to fraud and attacks by nefarious individuals or groups or through identity theft.

To get insight into identity security trends, Enterprise Strategy Group surveyed 488 senior IT and cybersecurity decision makers at midmarket (i.e., 500 to 999 employees) and enterprise (i.e., 1,000 or more employees) organizations across North America (US and Canada). These respondents were responsible for their organization’s identity and access management (IAM) programs, projects, processes, platforms, and services.
