This report documents the results of ESG Lab’s hands-on testing of the McAfee Vulnerability Manager MVM3100 Appliance. Over 1,000,000 public network IP addresses were scanned with a single appliance to demonstrate ease of setup and efficiency at scaling to large networks. A sampling of observed vulnerabilities, with lessons learned for corporate security teams, is featured in this review.
