Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG) conducted an in-depth research survey on the subject of security management and operations with 315 North American-based security professionals working at enterprise-class (i.e., 1,000 employees or more) organizations. For the purposes of this project, survey respondents were asked a series of questions about their organization’s information security philosophy, staffing, and services, as well as security management and operations technology adoption, and purchasing plans.
